You aren't the only one. I have had negative comments towards my artwork too. I know exactly how it feels to put so much time into something just to have it shot down. I feel you.

I think a hands on approach should be taken with a popular thread like this. Especially when active users from this forum are producing great art, like yourself, in support of male viera. This forum, not twitter or whatever. I think if it was going to be edited a few choice pieces would be a great addition to it!

I myself get hated a lot on the forums. I personally recommned you to ignore the hate

I don't mind if they're similar to elves so long as they have a decent amount of muscle on them. Elves are usually very popular in MMO's - they're just not popular here due to odd proportions. Yet they're very popular in WoW and ESO, both of which give them a decent amount of muscle.

They just need to look like adult men with adult proportions. Thankfully Yoshi-P has stated outright that they will not be designed to resemble children.

I'd hardly call forests tame. Maybe the ones we're used to now, but they also have their own natural predators... not to mention that those in the northern climes tend to become very inhospitable during the cold months. They're not a forgiving environment, and probably a good deal worse than warmer climes in the winter, without modern conveniences and the comfort of a car to retreat to. The main difference is that they lack the warmth which insects and various reptiles and diseases require to proliferate.

Besides, you do get jungle elves, and many others besides. Let's not forget that WoW's Night Elves, who have similar proportions to Au Ra, if not larger, are forest elves.

Same, I personally think that would be a very good look. Also, from what I've seen (just a very mall amount of ppl) ppl seem to reeeally like this body type for male viera.
I'd be ok with anything that isn't childlike or roelike as long as we get male viera, hopefully at 6.0

As i have stated myself some pages ago, i'd love them to fill in that wood elve niche, mystical savage forest people. and no male elezen sadly don't fill in that niche for me personally- otherwise i'd switch to them in a heartbeat.

Yeah, I think the elf aesthetic is a good idea. Something like Imlerith from Witcher 3 would be amazing, in my opinion!

Hmm, maybe a bit too chunky. I like lots of muscles, but I still prefer a bit slimmer chars
