    Honestly, I've barely played other FF games but when I look up Geomancer it feels like WHM and AST had a baby, who had a baby with a BLM that grew up and joined choir. Devout? Even a wiki said it's a pumped up WHM. Time Mage also sounds a lot like AST (using gravity as a weapon, etc.). So, I wonder if players would welcome a truly new FFXIV original job or would rather have a highly reworked version of some past FF job that mostly just share the same name?

    I like the current WHM and Astro, WHM I like better in SHB cause I enjoy it's moveset more though Astro was better in SB, card effects doing more then damage buffs was helpful, especially that mp cat.

    As far as new healers I'd like either a healer that heals through how much dps it does and it has a few strait up heal moves or give us a chemist healer.

    Hmm, what about Mystic/Oracle? All jobs transposed into FFXIV are modified to fit its combat system so it could work as healer or dps. Mystic is about in buffs/debuffs (good support aspect) and draining enemies. That could still be a drain of MP (used of course to cast healing and dps spells) but could also/instead drain health from the enemy and apply it to allies. Or fill some spirit bar that is used for attacks/heals. Plus with the Taoist monk concept/aesthetic it could work for those wanting a healer that sometimes goes into melee range. Mayhap even leaving your body to move around in spirit-form then teleport back could be involved.

If 50% of your health bar is polluted/weakened/on-borrowed-time, you are effectively operating only at 50% of your regular max health. Normally you have 15,000 health, but you've spent 5,000 on your blood magic. It's the same as only having 10,000 health until you pay it back to yourself damaging foes.
    Obviously "blood magic" would have to be changed in the second one for Oracle, and I like the first old comment better. There was another related comment but after 20 minutes I can't find it so meh.

    I would love an FFXIV original healer! But there is way too much in game lore for Geo to come in without being a caster, unless toes were stepped on.

    Yeah this is it, loosely based off a FFT class. Or expanded upon I should say.

    But my money is on us finally getting to radz at han for chemist. There is a private alchemist only island south of it that I think it will originate from.

    They have a few colors, White, Black, Red, Blue, and Green. Green is much less know since it only exists in Tactics A2 and Tactics S, with S being a Japanese phone game. They are the Buff & Debuffer Mage with some strong whacking ability. So think spells like Protect, Shell, Sleep, Blind and you got the gist of Green's spell list. Personally I love the class and do think it'd make a nice healer with some healing spells added to its normal list, could also make a good tank if you slap it in some armor instead. Pretty sure FFXII has a larger list of Green Magicks but it doesn't have a dedicated Green (Battle)Mage class like the others do in Zodiac Age
