Reduces number of travelers on the land route (Socializing)- I mean I don't really see that many people on the land routes and how many people stop and chat? I am sure it's not a huge number. Again nothing stopping you from using the land routes and talking to the new players/characters that are running around the land.

the flight system priortitizes A to B travel and ease of movement in an objective based system (no adventure, over trivializes aspects of travel example: bofuri ep 7 angel mode quest- If adventure is important to someone they can still use the land route and go explore and have an adventure, again this doesn't affect new players etc since you have to go through the ARR MSQ to unlock.
a&c) This is kind of moot since "convenience is king", so everyone will just fly regardless. Especially, in the post game stuff. And, the last content that was made to appeal to players in the explorer taxonomy outside of the MSQ was after the Copied Factory Alliance raid or the second volume of the lore book. And instead everyone is made to rush to acquire aether currents as quickly as possible, which leaves very little time to just take in the atmosphere and little incentive to pursue vistas, observe the make-up of the area design, mob behaviors, ponder lore, et cetera until way after the main story in which ppl would normally move on to other media or take a brake which is well after the initial excitement has dissipated. Oh, and the sightseeing log is just like okay-ish, and the potential loss of out of boundry areas paths or obstacles is a bit of a total downer

b) The socializer taxonomy totally gets way more enjoyment from the people (socializer, killers taxonomies) within the game than the world itself (achievers, explorers taxonomies), and there is a lot of appeal to big cities or populated trade routes for many people, which is why Limsa is super popular. It also says that this game is active in the open world or in towns, which just appeals to most people (ask why loners live and enjoy living in cities)
