Fanboy translation: Rested xp is a completely new and original idea that is coming to a FF-mmo near you! You'll now earnes a bonus to the exp you will ean while playing as a function of how long you've been logged out! So no more idling in town overnight bros! Logout in your residences instead

Actually that's another fair point -- it'll encourage (but not force!) people to log out instead of taking up server resources while they're out at work, school, or asleep, except for those people who already have a 50 everything (unless it boosts the rate of SB too, then it'd still have at least some use at 50.)
