I plan on finishing my Witcher 3 play through and then play through all of the Mass Effect games again while I wait for the next patch... once I finish leveling WAR to 80 and snag it's relic though! Want to make sure I have all my tanks in order before I dip for a few months.

I'm guessing if 5.3 drops, they could put the game on hiatus save for patches and QoL fixes. To be real, we may not even see 6.0 until 2022 at the earliest, so they'd be drip feeding content until that time.

FFXIV is likely on a contract to give out an Addon once per 2 years, SE and FFXIV is not the same. This is were it gets tricky and creates a situation we did not have before.

What happens if the 2 Year cycle is in danger? A Virus certainly is something new.

If SE Forces FFXIV to still press out that 5.0 in Summer of 21 because SE says ... "Money plz" and if so what will happen? Will some ideas be cut short, or not be added at all?
Or will SE realise "we piss of to many players if we rush for the cash"

We never had this situation, but there is a chance this will eat content that will now never see the light of day, or take of some of the polish.
We dont know what happens, this is new so lets see.

You may have seen similar when other companies push out games for christmas, another question why is the cycle in Summer?
Is there something that enhances their sales in Summer? Like the Summerhole a lot of companies try to fill?

Im guessing 6.0 wont be until late summer 2021. Im hoping a moogle treasure trove for next month and then gold saucer event in June then patch in july.

Was just wondering if we will have any sort of Event going to happen anytime soon?
I mean... every other Game I know is doing something for their Playerbase right now (f.e. WoW is having an 100% EXP Buff and 100% Rep Buff).

My Sub is running out next week, so I was wondering if I should renew it or go play something else till X.3 will come out anytime this Year (Got delayed due to Covid19).

I would love to have an Mogry Tombstone Event or/and Gold Saucer Coin event

I'm sure there is still plenty left in game that you could be doing that doesn't require the FFXIV development to break quarantine to keep you happy.

Problem? Most final fantasy fans will be playing it. Pretty much my entire raid group did. No extra raid nights since release.

Well, looking at your character, you still have plenty of content in xiv to keep you busy for the next few months. So I don't see any issues at the moment!

How is my character somehow related to what we discussed? How is 7 remake related to MMORPG we're playing? It's 2 different games and not everyone die hard FF fan here and just want to get some boost or event like other MMO games do right now.
We're getting levels of stupidity that shouldn't be possible.
