I like see Carbruncle more like familiar and summon more like well just summon. with familiar they be out at all time of combat. summoner can have summon out at same time as they have they familiar out they work different through a summon has limit time be out

summoner familiar gain dps and hp as much as they int. the high the int the longer a prime can be on field maybe this bad ideal but picture you have summon out such Ifrit shiva Garuda and titan. one redo the dots so that summon attack are apply to the summon and the summoner ability just use bain and pain flare and well. one could have it if you summon say one of each summon you can summon behamut or Phoenix. it this trance is more way to achieve a high summon. the summon are limit to 60 second while high summon are limit to 30 second. the summoner familiar has no time limit as does scholar familiar.

one could argue the scholar fairie and scholar could possible have familiar out at same time but since the scholars int is lower then they familiar doesn't get as much hp and dps but fairie get more hp/healing power because of their wisdom.

if Square enix would take the an ideal of trait such ????
it would allow them to use pet jobs skill like int or wisdom and have translate to hp/dps and hp/heal this would great improve scholar and summoner. yet this could be use for other pet jobs aswell

why I like see beast master more as hybrid pet job where you fight side be side with your pet. blizzard already did pokemon game it doesn't turn out very well. if beastmaster if fight side by side with they pet they could come out with a pvp kind arena style game for doing for fun or rare pets or rare spell for blue mage. one could even seen this as for e-sport part of ffxiv
