I dont want a smn rework . i want the stormblood smn gameplay expanded. Sure summoner needs more summons but it also needs depth just clicking a button and an animation playing isnt fun what is fun on smn is all the planning around trying to survive through your lower point to reach that high point that is your summon . a summon on summoner shouldnt be like a blm fire 4 rotation or a rdm finisher it should be a game changer like for example on pheonix even though he is 1 button it requires a dreadwyrm trance and a bahamut rotation but it compensates with a heal, buffed up insta spells and the summon itself. the kicker is though the trance is what provides most of those buffs not the summon , bahamut is bad in comparison and the high point of pheonix doesnt feel as satisfying as stormblood bahamut with the aetherflow . if anything they should switch it back to 1 demi summon per 2 mins and instead give variety on what to summon as well as giving further power ups . as for removing ruin dots and stuff those spell are as esential to summoner as the summons themselves i know alot of jobs are upgrades to their original but smn isnt that ,smn is a specialist arcanist and ofc his specialty is summoning and scholar specialises in healing. removing aetherflow was honestly a mistake and i do wish that this smn continues the story of summoner hasnt finished yet and i really liked where it was going.
