Please Make Older Minion Mats Available Elsewhere

Accept that your FC set an unattainable goal because you did not comprehend the rarity of the items involved.

What I fail to understand is why you continue to try to convince me that I don't understand the rarity of these items... I fully grasp the rarity of these items, just see absolutely no reason for them to be this rare. There is literally nothing special about this group of minions. They're not popular. They're not even particularly cute in comparison to other minions. They're not based on well-loved characters from the series or adorable real world animals. They don't do anything special that other minions don't do. They're not a status symbol. They're not the mark of a great player of this game. They're not an item that takes extreme skill to achieve. They're rare literally only because of RNG and because Square hasn't had to dip low enough in the barrel yet to reuse them as prizes elsewhere. Rare items should be rare for at least some semblance of a reason, and "We were over-zealous with our mat requirements in one particular expansion" really isn't a good reason. Nor is "some things are just meant to be rare" when the drop rates of essentially everything else in this game get tripled by the time a new expansion comes out--it is literally easier to create relic weapons and earn savage content drops than it is to get one mat for one of these older minions.

What I genuinely don't understand is your personal stake in this. I just spent two months fruitlessly searching for a single mat, so I know my place in this issue. I made the thread because I was sick and tired of doing treasure maps with shit drop rates. But like... why do you care about this topic enough to keep coming back to this thread to try and "educate" me? Is it really going to bother you if Atomos Corpulence becomes a rare drop from Crystal Tower? Is it going to haunt you if Iron Giant Cores start dropping from MSQ? Is it going to keep you up at night if these five-year-old vanity pet items become even slightly less rare? If you're willing to just freely give away mats for these minions, then why do you even remotely care whether or not those mats become slightly less rare? Do you actually have a personal stake in disagreeing with my idea to make the mats more available, or are you just disagreeing to disagree?
