Imo it's SE's fault for creating a system that lets you repeat the entire crafting process from start to finish by only pressing one button.

Need to change the UI, so you have to actually look at the screen to confirm something. For example you could make the default selection = cancel instead of accept.

Please no >.> this pissed me off on FFXI when putting things on the AH half the time you'd click no by mistake, sure it punishes botters but it also annoys us proper players.

Also if you're asking the game to craft, why the hell would you want the default option set to no?

Yeah so the people who program and sell these bots have to change one line of code whereas everyone who crafts legitimately has to deal with that massive pain in the ass.

At least you would be able to more easily distinguish between people who are actually using a bot, and someone who is just taking advantage of a badly designed UI element because they don't want to do something boring and tedious for hours and hours.

Hate the game, not the player.

Btw, are you really suggesting that you can stand to legitimately play the crafting system over and over, but adding one extra button press to the left on every synth is a "massive pain in the ass" ?

I am, that's precisely why they changed the default button in the first place.

Listen, the system is tedious and boring, therefore there will ALWAYS be people who abuse it. It could be bots, or turbo controllers or underage slavery, it doesn't matter how, someone will abuse it.

So with that in mind, you might as well make it easier for the idiots like me who bother to at least sit next to a laptop and keep pressing Enter.

Wouldnt work, just need to add one line of code to the bot to move the selection up or down, it would stop turbo controlers, but that would solve nothing, RMT and your 24hrs/day crafters arent using celotape on thier turbo controlers, the problem is actual bots.

SE did it. Default start was on the leve selection button. But people complained about it I think. Now the default start is on the recipe button

Indeed, initially it defaulted to Requested Items button but that really didn't make much sense so they changed it. Again that is not something that will affect actual bots in any way.

So the next bot will have a command to move the cursor down before hitting OK. You've just solved world hunger.

They need to make crafting "fun". It does nothing right but but wear out the confirm button on my controller.
