Don't mind waiting, I'm in the PSO2 Alpha this week and the game is awesome and promising.

I was concerned about the NDA on that (I'm not in it).

To be fair, the mainstream MMOs mentioned in this thread have their story. One's own preference on mainstream influence, presentation, theme, and gameplay will determine how these stories flow to that player.

Please don't deviate from the topic Fio.

I think for those still into the single-player gaming experience, Final Fantasy XIII-2 should serve as a good peacekeeper between the announcement and the release of future FFXIV patches.
