I cant stand the way gamers speculate about release dates and features. It's almost always nothing more than someone just trying to give themselves a false hope to look forward to. Embarrassing really.

People keep talking about the raids being dead but that's not the case, not sure if server matters but as a DPS the longest I've ever had to wait on alliance raid content is like an hour tops, that's WAY more manageable than grinding through Diadem/Pagos/Anemos/whatever.

The Ivalice Raid in particular. I remember seeing a while back that the relic has something to do with the ongoing story of Ivalice so that would need to be finished first.

Don't worry if Orbonne was wayyyy too difficult for you back then. They nerfed it pretty hard by now so that you can 1-2-3 your way through without any braincells being required.

I just got Orbonne the other day, and unfortunately, it is still a wipefest. The 10% echo I thought would make things just explode, but I noticed no difference in the slog at all from when I last did it months ago. In fact, things felt like they were taking longer to die. Cid, despite being nerfed into Mid still wiped the group and we still barely got the win second time. People are just really really bad and really really lazy. The more they nerf it, the more you get new players that just don't care at all about putting in any effort in "old" content and think they can just push buttons and ignore mechanics.
