Clearly the solution is to give th Skybuilders 8394848484 more brooms.

One of Coeurl's FATEs was close to this point, but no we finished with 4 minutes left. It was peak dead hours and ppl were either tired or playing AC lol
:P
Failed on Cerberus also, despite us EU first progressing. Someone later said they submitted 500+ expert crafts to clear their inventories early in the morning.
Some observations. The second FATE will be much easier and faster, but will require higher participation. I usually get Gold with 3 tasks but in second FATE I got only Silver with 7. Gold may require 10 or more. The progress bar still fills during these 8 hours so you don't technically 'lose' anything, after the second FATe it'll be instantly filled by 10% or more.
Realism would just be letting the work continue as long as necessary or picking up right where it left off later, rather than an all-or-nothing timed event. Besides, having to redo entire phases because a Fate popped at a bad time would be a massive waste of time and effort to everyone who already contributed.
I think with overall participation dropping after the rankings closed, progress is a little more sporadic and subject to the whims of people who bulk-submit.
On Zodiark I've noticed it takes a couple days to fill to about 80%, then it seems people try to rush the last 20% or so, but if this happens later at night is won't actually proc until the early hours.
I’d make them spawn every hour or make it an individual thing as I can never get to one of these due to work timing. Also adjust them so it scales based upon how many are in the instance.
What is the hurry? It was a long time between parts. People are still doing it. If it gets within a month they should open it up otherwise let each server go at their own speed. Think of it as community building.
Moonsprite, the first round of the Restoration, they did allow people from other worlds on the datacenter come in and help. Unfortunately that led to the Firmament being so full for fates, people from the world the fate was on could not even get in to do the fates. In the first week, everyone was done with all the stages that had been released. Now progress is a bit slower, but it will pick up again when they do the next season of ranking. I keep checking the builders' progress report, and no one is terribly far behind. I'm still waiting for Tonberry on the Japanese data center to finish stage 4 of the New Nest to see if that is the last stage for this section. Everyone is at St. Roelle's stages or higher.
