I'm pretty sure SE realises it's not enough. They've indicated that they want to give us more, but there is some kind of technical issue - most likely inventory data space.

(Playstation is the problem)
Plus the game is built on old technology. We need a Glamour Book or something. SOmething we can apply anywhere. Other than a Glamour box or w/e lol Remove the limits!

Please don't blame the PlayStation when you don't actually know it is the problem.
Also aside from the allocation of resources they probably don't have anyone available to code that or look into it. Instead of asking for something come up with a solution or accept what we have and make it work. Be happy that they gave this to us and enjoy it. Not every game can have something like this so try to understand what it is your Actually asking for before you ask for it. It's not easy to code something like this.

I don't think it works like that though. Yes something like that is difficult to code, but I don't think you can stop complaints and suggestions form popping up from people dissatisfied from the current system. After all people are still asking for Egi-glamours years after the initial tease. It's gonna take confirmation from the devs themselves, (something like "we are unable to add more with this system" rather than vague statements) to stop threads about the topic from popping up.Please don't blame the PlayStation when you don't actually know it is the problem.

I am sure even SE telling us that it isn't possible wont stop these threads from surfacing. lolI don't think it works like that though. That's a lot to unpack for such a short post. Please don't blame the PlayStation when you don't actually know it is the problem.

1: "PS2 limitations" was a favorite excuse for SE not adding things to FFXI for a REALLY long time, and then it turned out to not really be true later in the game's life. "PS3 limitations" were a STRONG reason for how segmented the game's zones are, so "Playstation limitations" seems like a valid check here.
2: "Don't have anyone available to code..." I'm sorry but they've had months to figure this out at this point. This next patch was already delayed by months because of the pandemic. The pandemic is a thing, it's not really a great excuse now. Other companies (including other Japanese companies) found a way to make it work.
3: "Instead of asking for something come up with a solution or accept what we have and make it work." are.. are you serious? What do you think the forums are for? This is feedback here. It's not even unreasonable feedback. SE already knows the glamour dresser is insufficient as it stands. This thread and other like it contain suggestions for how the system could be improved.
4: "Be happy that they gave this to us and enjoy it." They gave us nothing. We pay for this. You pay for this. We all pay for this. None of this is charity. And btw, the glamour dresser existing AT ALL is because of feedback like this.
5: "Not every game can have something like this so try to understand what it is your Actually asking for before you ask for it." I don't even know what this means. Games aren't slapped together from pre-fab parts or something. They're programmed. And computers, not being magic, can be programmed differently. No one is suggesting this is easy. We know they're working with spaghetti code left over from 1.0, especially in their inventory subsystem. Here's the thing about that: that's not our problem. That's not on the customers to solve, that's on them to solve. 1.0 was a long time ago, it's time to stop using it as an excuse for why they can't do things.

Maybe we need another calamity to reset the game lol. Give them another opportunity to update things under the hood like ARR sort of did.
This game's about a decade old. Relaunch it into FF14-2 lol
(I am not serious)
