Whenever I try an expert recipe, I'm either out of CP or durability in about 20 steps, and that's with Specialist, Cr: 2523, Co:2385, CP: 542 If I do manage to complete one, the quality is too low to turn in.
What stats do you need to complete one of these?

Ur stats seems fine, but u shouldnt go to that many steps, i average about 40 steps (3mins) whit 8/10 top quality and 2/10 on high 5k+ whit the casual fail if my opener whit rapid synthesis fail. Also remember to use food and syrup for that sweet extra CP, and delineations for when rng dont favor and u fish for a good on ur finisher. u should end whit 630+ CP whit buffs.

if your stats are high enough that you are allowed to make them, then they are high enough, you need to use the 0cp cost luck based skills and make use of all conditions without wasting them.

I really hope they don't announce when they are, otherwise people will just hoard stuff in advance.

Also, i think the people in the, lets say, top 30 get a different title, its one thing to get rank 100 but completely another to actually put more effort in and get rank 30 only to get the same title as 100th.

Whoever hoarded Grade 1 mats got almost nothing by hoarding it. 1 expert Grade 2 craft gave more points than their whole inventory of old Grade 1s. It's safe to assume there will be new materials and recipes in the next season.

You can do it without using Hasty Touch too much (though Rapid Synth is definitely a big boon). Its more about making sure you're eating the right food to give yourself enough CP and making proper use of the conditions that pop up. I try to shoot for 30-40 steps. Most of the time I can do that, but depending on rng of conditions, sometimes you can max, sometimes you get tier 2 and sometimes it's better to just quit early and restart (mats are cheap). Also using Observe to fish for procs can be beneficial at times, but you don't want to overdo it.

Using HT gives you a bit better chance at getting max quality vs tier 2 because you can fish for more Good/ToT and Pliants, but the amount of steps needed for that isn't worth the time.

Its fine to use it if you don't mind wasting all that extra time. I prefer to stick with prudent touch as much as possible, though. The less I see "Failure!" pop up due to bad rng, the better.
