The Coerthan astrologians are a very different thing to the Sharlayan discipline we learn as a class. They're basically astronomers - they look at the stars, take notes and draw maps - not a very thrilling base for gameplay.




People dance. That's normal and would happen in any setting. We have not seen anything resembling chakram-wielding battle dancers prior to Shadowbringers.

Its not about seeing the weapon being use small hints alone proved they were going to have to do it since alot of people who would play this game has played atleast 1 other final fantasy with jobs like dancer so small little hints like that proves it.


as for raubhuan and griffon 1st He duel wields scimmys basicly a blue mage trait in some ffs second his nick name Bull of the east again basicly blue mage hint ... Griffon Saugan blade Lions etc all of their abilitys have a beast/monster name and has mele abilitys so ya basicly both are blue mages lol

It's obvious! Griffon was wearing blue...and he had a beard! Blue guy with a beard, a mage! Like Dumbledore but in the blueman group! And duh, everyone knows having an arm cut off makes you a wizard. I dont know how you missed this.

Well,honestly, yes.before you get to heavenward you see Ast all over camp dragonbone so that was going to come evently.

Your reaching if you think Scantly clad Miqote Dancing around is a Hint at a Dancer Job. By that logic we should have gotten them sooner.

They have not done ANYthing related to Blue Magic. But I do know that in XI there was a Bluemage under the name Raubauhn. And I think the Immortals or something like that was the group/faction name. Good references and nods to another game...but are not tied or hint to Blue Magic in XIV at all.

The Imperials do not use Gunbreakers. Gunbreaker is an art made by the Hrothgar (in XIV of course) which uses Aether/Magic Infused Cartridges on a Sword with a Chamber similar to a gun. The Imperials are using basically Swords with Gun Barrels on them. The Main difference is One can Cut and Stab and fire Bullets, the other Infuses the Blade with energy of some kind.
Just like Dancer, if there was a Hint this was coming, then we should have gotten it sooner.

Limsa basicly has a gunner guild (which sadly should have been added with duel pistols ... but they went with cids path of machines... which again is a hint.. I think the only one visually that never had a in game hint was Dark knight. But then again you can't have paladins without have their opposite be playable without pissing people off so dark knight honestly had to be added at some point so

What Guild are you referring to? Or at the least what did you see in game that looked like a Gunners Guild? And..I guess how is it a Hint at a future Job?
Because the "Gunners" that we got are Machinists. They literally work with Machines, and they Developed guns as another machine to help in ranged Combat in the Ishgard army.
I dont see a sinle point in the game that this is hinted at.
And...I dont think people would be in an uproar if we had Paladin and not Dark Knight. People would just be more mad if we didnt have another Tank Job to play, and it could have been anything other then dark knight. Heck, we could have Gotten that job THIS expansion instead of HW.

so Honestly they have no choice but to add a hammer job at this point consindering how many characters outside Gaia has hammers visually being used diffently than a warrior fights..

And honestly adding Geomancer now is a must consinder the amount of tease the game does and the lack of a job that honestly focuses on all the elements.

They could just make Hammer Weapon designs for the Tank Jobs. XD
And nah on Geomancer, give us Chemist. It would be alot more interesting to have a 4th Healer, and Non-Magical Healer at that. Plus it would fit very well if we are going into Garlemald since they can't use Magic.
Btw...did you forget Conjurer & Whitemages use the Elements?

They say explicitly in the gunbreaker quests that the garlean gunblades are completely different to the gunbreaker ones, and the gunbreaker npc is annoyed people conflate the two, so youre wrong here

No, their attacks are blue magic "by definition" when they are the same specific attacks used by certain monsters.

Otherwise gunbreaker and dragoon are now blue mages because they use "fang" and "claw" attacks.

That would be post-Heavensward, approaching Stormblood, when samurai would have been well under development if not already announced.

Specifically, due to his Lionshead skill, when the premier Gunblade user from Final Fantasy is Squall, who has an afinity for Lion head jewelery/ornaments. In addition, the fact that the skill summons exploding swords a term that isn't too far off how one might describe a Gunblade...

Go back and do MSQ roulette and do both dungeons. That scene was purely lore only. Lahabrea describes the hammer of darkness in clear detail and it was a "coming full circle" moment nothing more.
