Dancer was hinted at when Lyse during SB's MSQ mentioned briefly that her sister, the real Yda was a dancer and the dress Lyse wears originally belonged to her.

I don't recall them ever claiming Yda was a dancer, only that the dress belonged to her. The Lyse minion text even pokes fun at the fact that people thought it looked like a dancer outfit!

Yeah, I don't recall Yda being called a dancer either. It wouldn't be impossible, but considering dancers are from Thavnair it would be a bit odd for an ala mhigan resistance member to also be one, though certainly not impossible.

Part of me hopes they add that dress at some point. It looks great, it's ala mhigan, and it'll be funny to put it on a dancer character because of said confusion where some people thought she was a dancer in the trailer.

Guys it is clear what one of the next jobs will be. Look around you see npc merchants everywhere even since 1.0 days, heck even since like '97ish with Ultima Online. So clearly the next job will be a merchant job, an actual job..

As much as I have been screaming for Geomancer ever since they referred to it as a totem wielding branch of conjurer that never came back in 1.0. I have no idea why Gaia would be hinting at the class. She has a hammer and is involved in a storyline about bringing elements back to the land (God how my hopes got up at the release for this), what about her says Geomancer? He all dark attire, her two handed mace, her use of time magic?

Gaia's time-related powers, the way the character was first introduced to us, and a very specific line of dialogue in particular all very strongly hint toward her being some sort of form/incarnation of a certain FF8 character.

In short, I very highly doubt it's intended to be interpreted as a time mage teaser.

And as pointed out by examples like Nero, the hammer by itself doesn't mean anything either.

I still hope today we get the Garlean Gunblade Job and since we already got Squall/Seifer Gunblade job as a Tank and by Lore they are considered two different weapons. Hopefully it is a DPS that focus a lot on the Azure Flames the Garlean Gunblades creates for their skills and a few off-GCD Range attacks to utilize their Range attack functions with their Melee Attacks.
