But you 'glorious' Anti-Mogstation-people DO realize, that the devs will most likely give you less stuff to glamour / play with when your hated pay-service vanishes, yes? Less money-income means less resources means more things will get cut.

That's the right of it. If the mogstation was cut, we would see more things cut, or never added to the game than ever before. People should be thanking the whales. Don't get me wrong there is a balance, but this game handles it's cash shop well.

This is a very silly take.
By all numerical accounts and reports, XIV has been growing rapidly — in terms of interest and subscribers — over the last few expansions. However, the rate of content added to the game has not kept up with the monetary growth of the game. So this idea that, if the Mog Station was cut out, that more in-game content would be cut is ludicrous. The profits from the Mog Station do not go back into XIV; it goes back to Square-Enix, who then invests into non-XIV enterprises.
The Mog Station is not going away, that's true enough, but let's drop this narrative that it means more investment or content in the game. Square-Enix's track record is to keep the game profitable, but only to funnel those profits into other enterprises.
As someone who plays games with lootbox system that you have to pay real money for, I love Mog station so much. Imagine paying say, 20 (what ever currency you use) for few boxes you can't even guarantee you get the item you want from vs. paying 20 (again what ever currency) to get the exact item you want with no RGN in the purchase. As much as I would love to not always use real money aside from the sub payment, the more people use Mog station the more items we get.

but they, in general atleast arent making NEW stuff for mogstation. It's all existing outfits and mounts etc that are already in the game to begin with, the only difference is that they're making it available to be used by players that pay stupid sums.
If mogstation didn't exist, we would of still gotten yshtola's and kriles outfits eventually, for example, because they're already in the game and there was demand for it. Using the mogstation's existence for why things on it are good is not a good justification.

No, we wouldn't. And if we did, it'd be at the expense of any other set. Cashshop items are made with extra resources, as far as I know.

Technically no one outside Square Enix knows.
But if you believe everything someone trying to sell you something says, I have some swampland in Florida you might be interested in hearing more about.

Extra resources? Did you even read my post?
Krile has been in the game since HW, and she's been wearing the same costume since. Yshtola's outfit that was added recently was made for her. These are outfits that are made YEARS in advance of when they're put on the cash shop, it doesnt take them much effort to make them wearable, yet here they are putting them on the cash shop. Very little on the mogstation is actually made specifically for the mogstation, which is a good thing, but im saying we'd be better off without it and instead get the mogstation items as in-game rewards itself.

They are made for a single race and need to be adapted for everyone else. That takes resources and effort @x@; (even more if it were an ingame reward, for it'd need a male counterpart that hasn't been designed).Extra resources? Did you even read my post?
