People were saying drinking and doing drugs are the same because they're both drugs more or less and I said it wasn't which lead into the derailment you see now.
Reading Context before commenting can go a long way should try it c: or does attempting to try and school someone making your brain rot or something?


Why would you get in a car with someone that's drinking? and if someone is driving like an idiot all in the street pretty sure you wouldn't be near it and the chances of you seeing it is not that common. Not trying to lighten the fact DUI is a problem but you're just grabbing at the bottom of the barrel by using that. Because if you wanna pull up extreme examples of drinking, I can also pull up extreme examples of smoking effects but not going to do that as its a waste.
You people keep trying to prove me wrong but just coming up with illogical comparisons.

You can walk away from someone that's smoking but cig smoke circulates in the air and travels. It doesn't just sit in the same spot as the smoker, whats next? Not enter a house I'm suppose to be at because they smoke? Just accept smoking cigs is worst overall health from the people around you.
Smoking is way more common to be around than some drunk dude.

Smoking is gross and I'll hate this emote. Its not gonna happen so its w/e really, just gonna let this topic die just as the one asking to be strippers did.

I mean that's fundamentally true. Alcohol is literally classified as a drug, specifically a depressant. And if it were so easy to identify someone drunk driving, then why do so many people get injured or killed by them?

But again, to get back on topic; it's an emote, it's not gonna hurt you irl, if you don't like it just don't use it or buy it, since it would likely be a mogstation emote like /toast.

Yes please. It's been on my wishlist ever since the Crystal Tower repeatable NPC way back in ARR had the animation to taunt us with; Yotsuyu only made me want it even more. It's way overdue.

i can't see modern tobacco products like cigarettes being used in any ffxiv setting but god i would die for an emote with a long cigarette holder. i NEED the yotsuyu aesthetic

I think smoking is disgusting, and keep away from it irl as much as possible. I can't stand the smell.

But in game? As long as it's just someone smoking themselves not like, blowing smoke at people like the hearts in the /dote emote, I'd be perfectly fine with it existing even if I'd never buy/use it.

I don't expect SE to ever add it anyway though.

I'm fine with a smoking emote in the game. I had the ashtray furnishing in my house (before I switched servers and had to give up my house). I always figured my character was a smoker/alcoholic with all the BS he's been through...
