    Entry level subscriptions can have eight characters, one per world. You do not need a standard subscription to have alts in any form. Only if you want two on a single world, or more than eight in total.
    If you make an alt on a different server, is it really an alt?

    Why wouldn't it be an alt? It's still an alternate character that I can play as whenever I choose.
