Mini rant incoming.

I've been playing summoner a bit lately. "Dabble" stage. And I first want to get out of the way that the job plays far from perfectly. The rotation is a bit convoluted, in ways that are annoying rather than satisfying (though in it's own way this is good because it allows the job to recover from drift). Pet ghosting is a thing. Etc.

But for all that... the amount of mobility you get is insane. The amount of weave opportunities you get is insane. And while there's a little weird/awkward flow at places, at the same time, it's easy to tell that a lot of effort went into making it flow as well as possible.

And this is just making me rage and cry inside because healers still clip for days, even the more mobile healers don't even compare, and just all in all... Yes, some things have improved about healers over time, but just compared to this... well, I'm asking myself over and over, where did the design effort go when it came to healers.

While I'm not throwing in the towel just yet, I wonder if I might end up maining DPS and if this might be the thing that does it. Not the changes to healers, but just how smoothly and naturally other jobs play...
