    Please reduce the CD and duration of Arm's Length.

    Arm's length is a fun useful tool but can also be unreliable due to it's very lengthy CD.

    I think just reducing the CD would make it more powerful than necessary, so I'd suggest reducing the duration to 4 or even 3 seconds would balance out the shortened CD.

    When can you actually use that ability for preventing drawback? Every time I tried it to cover for mechanics, it ended up not working.

    I only use it for the slow effect on mob pulls, which is great. I'd rather not have the duration shortened for that, and cooldown is fine for that purpose imo.

    You're using it too late then. If it's on a cast bar, you have to use it before the cast is over, not relying on the animation.
    As for knowing when... well that's the point. Playing the game and the content and what pushes you, and when to use it.

    Why? You don't normally need it more than twice in hard fights, it's basically always available in any situation where you might need it. There are like a couple of exceptions in the whole game, and that's what skills like onslaught, shukuchi and the like are for.

    I miss when Surecast, the ranged equivalent, was only 30s cd. Now it's 120 because...reasons :C

    Reduce re-cast on Arm's Length; yes.

    Reduce the Duration of Arm's Length; HECK NO!

    Did you even read Arm's Length's effects?

    I've never really had an issue with it's longer cooldown. Even in E4S most of the mechanics that Arms Length/Surecast can negate are spaced out in such a way that they're either ready by the next time it happens or the time after that - and if it isn't ready then simply doing the mechanic properly usually won't cause very many issue aside from a minor loss of uptime. That said if they start putting in more fights that have mechanics that require it I won't have an issue with the cooldown being reduced - and right now it's more of a 'ehhh, why' situation than an outright 'no'.

    No the current duration of arms length covers lag variation and is great. Especially for tanks.
