To OP are you sure you don't just have an ordinary bank card? That's not a debit card.

Yes, they do -- at least, my Visa debit card does. Flip the card over, and on that strip that you're supposed to sign (that no one ever does *cough*) there is a three digit code near the end of it. That's a security code to prevent hackers from gaining full access of your CC without actually having the physical card present.
I'm allergic to effort.

Ah!!! Noir, you may have a pure debit card. You may need to contact your bank and apply for a Debit card that can double as a credit card.

Yep guessing it's most likely this. Didn't even know bank still offered plain bank card without master/visa option to use as credit.

Maybe the numbers are gone for years of use my bank card had that issue but i still can see the number but looking at it in a diff way maybe the ink is no longer there but the number should still be there that or he just don't really have it lol.Yes, they do -- at least, my Visa debit card does. I'm disappointed no one accused OP of being a troll or insulted their intellectual ability. it's almost like the forums are becoming... nice![]()
Um, no they don't. It's not common. The ccv code normally only applies to credit cards.
Isn't that the norm? Debit started in Ottawa, I don't see how we could be behind the times lol x.x Do americans have chip cards?

I have a MasterCard Debit Card and it has the 3-digit Security Number on the back.
It should be something like this for Visa Electron
