You can keep repeating the phrase that people can just look away, though that's another deceptive argument that doesn't take into account the simple fact that different people see and experience things differently. Some players are hyper-perceptive and can't help but take note of things that stand out. It's much the same way as how players should not be forced to watch a video and expect to pick up mechanics through such a medium when there's groups of players who learn best through reading a written guide and others need to experience a fight directly to get to grips with it.

There's nothing deceptive about using common sense. I don't know what else to say. Not everything in this world needs to be a "safe space". People aren't forced to watch videos either. That is a choice. They also have the choice to form their own groups or join blind runs. The 2 can't really be compared in your sense, but they can be compared easily in mine which gives people the choice of choosing to, or not to, looking away from what one dislikes.
