From what I've seen it's a case of someone suggests it, in come flooding the allegations of hypothetical bigotry, which shifts the topic to that. It's hardly fair to hold that against people who would like the feature. The OP even made it quite clear, but at the end of the day, to some people it would seem that simply not liking certain things is "bigotry". Well, in that case, they can hold to their view and I will simply reject it as having any basis in reality.

I never said it was all, just some of those for and against it. And I don't hold it against anyone not spewing hypothetical word vomit on either side of this. Still though, what I've seen has been enough for me to form my opinion. People would be hard pressed to change my mind at this point. I started out as impartial, for the record.

Yes, well I am familiar from the male Viera thread with the fact that a few bad apples can poison the barrel, but really when it comes to evaluating a feature, it should stand or fall on its individual merits. The conduct of people advocating for or against it is rather besides the point. Allowing such things to colour one's perceptions just makes it easier to sabotage the push for such a feature, sometimes on the basis of bad faith arguments.

well to be fair, the greeks' dps in that fight was worthless, most of their force was tanks, plus the persians had everything but a healer on their team. greeks wiped before they even got to the boss.

Never, waste of time for just a select few that get triggered over weird outfits. Not to mention kermit the frog is a fantasy character hes made up lmao. I do not like the idea of being able to block glamour most people armors are completely mismatched so unless square puts everyone to default look so everyone will look the same (even characters looks) that is the only way ive seen a feature implemented. It would take WAY too much processing power to strip people of their glam put them in the armor they have equipped, especially for PS4s that can barely run in limsa for fn sakes. Get use to it cause come the next Easter event something else is going to come out. do you like bugs bunny, sure hope so lmfao!

Given that the feature already existed within the game itself at one point in time, I'd wager it's a pretty simple toggle to implement once more. It was even used to make the player character wear a specific set of armour during a tournament in Ishgard's name a while back, too.
