I'm deathly curious about how the fact that someone has a different opinion then you makes you want to spew this passive-aggressive "I'm happy for you~" I'm so sorry that this game appeals to different people in different ways and the fact something you dislike is loved by others.

I would wager the guess is a feeling of personal attachment to the old gameplay loop, which lead to a feeling of betrayal from a product deciding it needed to change it up.
