Cinder Drift (SCH).

I noticed that the healing pressure was getting really intense during phase 2, and when the other healer (WHM) died i noticed that the pressure didn't really increase until the last phase. Then on the next pull i looked over and noticed her just casting a bunch of cures...not cure 2's...cures... only cures. We wiped again to the comet's pulsing damage on all the dps because i just couldn't keep up on my own.

The healer mysteriously d/c'd after that, so we took the opportunity to just give her the boot. Got another WHM after that who was brand new, and i told her right off the bat "Just familiarize yourself with Medica and it'll be great", and it was. Went perfectly. Nobody died.

Like, how do you get a healer to level 80 and not learn anything about it. Even for a boosted character.

Just got out of an E8 (normal raid roulette) where people were dying so much, and getting hit by mechanics - myself included I just got hit by less - that Ryne was just spamming her raidwide aoe over and over. I had to SOLO HEAL IT while we had maybe 3 people up trying to take her down. What a rush! Then I SAVED/RAISED the entire party with a heal LB3 for the end DPS check.

Got one commendation, more than usual I suppose.

Fraggle fraggle, voting to abandon on new content, reeee.

I ran Furor for the second time in hopes of getting loot. Long story short, we wiped a few times, then one of the tanks typed "We're not finishing this" and left, followed by the other tank... Funny, because the tanks derped their fair share, as well. Someone then voted to abandon, followed by a dps leaving, with the vote being canceled because the person voting "logged out" (left). Kinda rolled my eyes and chose to stay, because it's barely been a week, this content is still fresh, and I'm hardly the best player myself. We eventually get new tanks and finish the trial just fine, with 4 of the players watching the cutscene, so clearly their first time running it (fellow healer, the 3 dps that stuck around). Walked away with 3 coms, probably from the original 3 dps.

Reminder: it's new content, people, so calm your butts, and have some patience.

"We're not finishing this as long as we're here messing up so we'll leave" :P or "we wanted to be carried and this isn't it."

I've been bouncing of others rants here, but I haven't had a reason to rant about my own in a while now.

So...
Getting paired with another Dancer in the Copied Factor bugs me a bit now. Past couple couldn't seem to be consistent with their technical steps. Yeah mechanics and all that, I get it.. the last Dancer though was a trip. This one would start her technical step *every time* I used mine. Didn't matter how long I would hold it(I hate doing this) waiting for them...

Reminder.
1. They don't stack.
2. I think the other that has been overwritten doesn't gain Esprit from everyone, just their partner still

So, just came out of the last MSQ dungeon. Got an AST as healer. Didn't see a single card or Gravity, not once.

It was weird. Told the guy, didn't get any response, so meh.

I just don't understand how someone can get to such levels and *not* use their whole kit.

The Twinning.

I went as MCH, the other DPS was a DRG and the tank was a PLD. I don't remember what the healer was as they disconnected very early on. We waited for him to return and in the meanwhile decided to make our way through the dungeon, with the PLD doing an impressive job at keeping himself alive even without a healer. We figured we'd try the boss ourselves and we succeeded. Clemency is very powerful and he kept not only himself alive but also the other DPS and myself! We never actually spoke to each other through the dungeon, it just turned into an impromptu challenge run. We did the rest of the dungeon in the same manner and didn't even wipe once.

I thought it was pretty cool and it definitely inspired me to invest in PLD again.

Personally, as a DNC main I hate being partnered with other DNC or even being in parties with other DNC because I have other things to pay attention than when the other DNC is performing their technical steps and trying to time mine against theirs.

New dungeon, a run I couldn't be out of fast enough.
The healer had a hard time keeping people alive, and at the same time they went forward and aggroed additional packs of mobs (no, they didn't even take them to the tank, they just stayed there).
The tank, when the healer asked them to use CDs, answered "I never needed to, before". Also, for some reason the tank lost aggro to me, a RDM, on the last boss.
I also don't get the healer complaining about destroying their fingers spamming heals, and at the same time aggroing extra and, correct if I'm wrong (i don't play Astro), isn't Diurnal sect stronger? They had Nocturnal on the whole time.
And of course in all of this I had to res a lot of times.
How do you all run that dungeon without any RDM or SMN by the way? At the second boss, whoever the healer is they almost always die, and often also tank and dps. Many wipes?

As long as the tank have all that aggro problems, using diurnal is a suicide. With a party like that I'd use noct too.

If everyone is taking continuous damage because DMB(Dumb Tank), Diurnal wont help much unless you throw out aspected helios to facilitate all those aspected benefics. Having said that, as Mi An said, you're gonna be the new tank with all those regens going.
