This is Raen erasure, unacceptable!
As a Xaela man, I can confirm this! Well, the child bearing part at least. We're the ones who have the babies, cook the food, tend to the flocks ...
Of course, we are quick to join the fray when the opportunity presents itself! We have need to quench our thirst for battle too, after all~

Xaela are steppe warriors, not Raen. Xaela females even have a "cutesey" motif to them.
Seems like a classic case of them making emotes around one clan, in this case Raen, which just so happen to be one of the bigger demographics in hingashi in lore, and pasting the emotes etc to the Xaela, which are almost all tribal warriors based off of the mongols.
2.0 Veteran from 2013. Just looking to be helpful. DRK is Love, DRK is life.
(Ignore the levels on my character card, the tool i used to make it hasn't been updated for 4.0)
I find the body shape of Au Ra to be better suited for certain clothes. My partner plays a male Miqo'te, and we both tried on the wedding dress when it became available to us and it looked a lot better on me because my character has a much more narrow waist compared to his. Male Miqo'te are surprisingly stocky by comparison.
I see you all are masters at being naughty without actually just coming right out and saying it.
Ngh... tell me about it. Female Au Ra emote more like a ~16 year old japanese pop idol than someone from a steppe dwelling warrior race. Raen might be justified, but Xaela? At least they rarely use those emotes in the MSQ anymore, which is nice.

Just to be clear, there isn't anything in lore that says they reproduce unusually so we can assume they're normal humans in that regard.
Or maybe they aren't.
(But seriously, there is dialogue indicating one of the Dotharl ladies is pregnant so anything else is just fun speculation if you want to keep your lore straight.)
