Let them finish the current races before worrying about new ones.

    Current races are "finished".

If the devs wanna keep them mono gendered they will, if they decide they whould be better off using that tiny room for something new like another small race then I can see that happening.

Viera and Hrothgar are functional. They can be played without breaking anything in the game.

However, they still lack a lot of the customization options of the other races. They are not "finished". There's a difference.

    Finished doesn't mean equal.

The same can't be said for things like hairs and helmets, though, and I honestly don't want to imagine the outrage if at 6.0 Viera and Hrothgars still have nothing.
Agree. There's no reason they need to announce everything to us as they go. They could absolutely be working on things quietly and holding them off for larger announcements.

Does it need to be brought up again that updates were promised eventually? They are officially unfinished. As I've stated repeatedly in this thread and others, I don't expect any actual news until 6.0, but the fact remains.

No, it doesn't? Promised updates doesn't mean the product wasn't finished, it means people complained about the finished product. I want the missing genders and hats/hair as much as the next guy, but they're not unfinished just because people were unhappy with them. The team set out to make races that could be included in the game despite *intended limitations*. It wasn't a lack of time or an accident that they didn't get all the hair or hats, it was planned so people could have the races they wanted.

.....False. Both the Viera and the Hrothgar, ARE finished Races. They were Made exactly as intended, Male Only & Female Only.
It was already explained why they did it this way, it was to Fulfill 2 requests at the same time: Viera, and a Beast Race, and because "This may well be they're last chance to make any new races. Because of the Time and resources it takes make a race to begin with, as well as the QA, and the Thousands of Gear Pieces they will have to adjust to fit the races." I might have paraphrased some of that, but otherwise they said this.

We were Never Promised ""The Missing Genders"" But they DID in fact say that they are Working on getting the Hrothgar and the Viera they're own Unique Hairstyles.
They didn't give us a Date WHEN, but they did say THAT was happening. Im also sure the "Paying a Fantasia to change hair" thing will be addressed to.
And I don't recall if they made an official statement, but Im pretty sure behind the scenes they are working on the Headgear situation. The Viera's issue is the Ears, I guess they don't want huge clipping with the ears, might have to redesign alot of gear with Earholes. And the Hrothgar the issue is they're Non-Human Beast Faces. So stuff like Helmets would have to be COMPLETELY redesigned to fit them. Because the original Base models were designed for Humanoid Faces.

No, they were never intended to have the same amount of options as other races.

They were never going to get hats and helms, this was a design choice made in the conceptual stages for the development for these races. The devs out right said that they were never gonna get them. Their ears are legit sitting in the hat slot in-game so that they can have customization options for them.

They were never going to get all the old hair styles shared between the races (Even when the devs said they would get SOME of them, the ones that could work on them, they made it clear that they would never have the same amount as other races. The most recent thing said makes it sound like they simply wont give them shared hairs at all in favor of making some amount of new race hair so we'll see).

So yeah, they're finished. You may not like the limits but that's not an accident, it's by design. It would be like walking into someone's air BnB and saying they're not done decorating this room cause you don't like how it lacks the xmas lights and throw pillows of their other rooms. Or it's like calling Blu an unfinished Job because they can't que for current end game content. That's your personal desires, if they decided to make a race or job with limited options then said race/ job is not forever unfinished.

the chances of them adding a new race are very low, and it being before male viera and female hrotgar and having both genders on both races having everything unlocked is astronomically low, to the point where I'd sya is in the negatives
