Like in a lot of races you go from baby face to 20 something to like 50 to oh we'll just give them white hair to show that they're 50+. They have done better with some like Gaius actually looks as old as you'd think he is. I'd have to swear Ryne got the padjal face treatment in that even though most padjal look like they're tweleve we know the only one that's actually near that age is Gatty.
Not related to then topic but miqo'tes skin don't age as they get old. It was stated in the lore book that they don't know why other race skin age as they get old.
So a 50 year old miqote will still look like she or he is in their 20's while a hyur will look like a old man.
