Thread: How old is Ryne???? (Slight 5.2 Spoilers)

I think the weirdest part of Ryne potentially being 16 is that there's already two 16 year old hyur girls in the game and they both use the adult model, Edda and Leveva. Leveva grew up in a privileged home in Sharlayan, but Edda grew up dirt poor in a mountain village.

I've always figured that Ryne is 14 at best and the line mentioning others being her age wasn't to be taken extremely literally.

I mean some kids are late bloomers anyway, its not like there is a hard cap Ryne can hit before she uses a standard hyur model.

I think people take it too literally, when she says they're "her age". Consider how she's surrounded by 30+yo people the whole time, even someone say 5 years older than her or something vould be considered in her age range. Or in general anyone else who's also a teenager.

Theres plenty of wiggle room I guess. I wouldn't be suprised if she's ~16, and her stunted features and world views are due to a lack of proper upbringing.

Honestly you also need to look at it from a design aspect. It makes sense she's pretty small giving you a feeling that she's "cute" and wanting to protect her as well. Save for Lalafells, it makes sense she's pretty short.

Finding the exact age is probably not that easy but honestly I never thought that she would be near 17. We can make an argument for the twins since elezen age slower than other races but that should not be the case for Ryne right? So I always took her to be around 15 years old.
