If you don't like a particular thread, you're free to not partake of it.

I'm highly unlikely to ever take part in Ultimate raiding. As such, I make it a point not to post in threads related to it. I imagine a similar stance could be adopted by those who see no point in this idea, given that there's people posting who do care for it.
