Unfortunately a lot of people, especially in the west, cannot tell the difference.

I had an at length discussion with a friend about how the west would see this. And as a student of the arts, you honestly can get used to seeing nudity and not bat an eye (thanks life drawing).
It should be of note, Yoshi-P approved this. I would think if he thought it would be that big of a deal, she could/would be given a different form. I think her fusion is beautiful. It's angelic, and in a way, a tragic form of unity because you know she's going through what Ice Heart did, but ten times worse. What would a divine being need of dressing like normal?
Well we did get to see Ryne perform partially obscured nude transformations similar to magical girl anime... >.>
Now if only it had brought along things from the manga Magical Girl Apocalypse.

At least squall 2.0 was tsundere for only a little while. But she's still not cool.

Time to learn Savage.
The way I see that is that they didn't really have the time to set that up like they wanted. Gaia is outright rude to everyone for the entirety of the tier, and the questline ends with Thancred and Urianger stating that they're likely going back home in 5.3 and will not be around for the Raid's conclusion in 5.4.As much as I enjoyed the aesthetic of the fight, I do feel Shiva and Hyda-Ryne should have been their own encounters respectively. Combining the two dampened the emotional impact both could have had on their own, not to mention it robbed Ysayle of her much deserved "return". I am looking forward to how the fight changes with Savage, though it's a shame it's not canon.
It might just be bias on my part, but I'm inclined to believe that Gaia's development from rude to nice was meant to occur in the third tier, much like Ramza in Ivalice, since it did feel a bit like it was on fast forward. But delaying it that long would require Thancred and Urianger to go "Okay, we're out Ryne. Have fun staying with this girl who hates you once we all go back to our original lives." And that'd be pretty terrible!

I for one like terrible people in my happy go lucky story lines. She'll have a change of heart for her girlfrie- I mean new friend, but it's a pleasant reminder that not everyone likes you or your company right off the bat. And as a Eulmoran set in the mentality of Lord Vauthry's reign, it'd be weird to have her sweet and serene immediately. The way I see that is that they didn't really have the time to set that up like they wanted. Because someone who's lost his memory and not understanding what's going on in general or what to do and having a voice in his head should be nice to everyone. We don't know much about her or her previous life but Eden story is not over yet, so she most likely has her reasons to act like she does. The way I see that is that they didn't really have the time to set that up like they wanted. And Gaia doesn't hate Ryne, she just finds her annoying at first for obvious reasons.

Idk i kind of liked it

And as a Eulmoran set in the mentality of Lord Vauthry's reign, it'd be weird to have her sweet and serene immediately.I have no idea how you misinterpreted what I wrote as "Gaia should be nice to everyone right off the bat regardless of her circumstances" when what I actually said was "It'd be really terrible if Urianger and Thancred left before Gaia shifted to becoming nicer towards her since Ryne wouldn't have anyone on the First to emotionally connect to until Tier 3 of the story". There wasn't a single point in that post where I criticized Gaia for being rude or said that it didn't make sense.Because someone who's lost his memory and not understanding what's going on in general or what to do and having a voice in his head should be nice to everyone.
