Ah but the big thing is. Fashion is part of the mmo thing. That select few wanted something that improved what mmos and social games it is. What you want is to take it away.I put a lot of time, effort and gil into my own glamour pursuits. I wouldn't mind at all if other people were to see my character in base gear.
We can already turn down spell effects and tweak other elements as to how we see other characters - such as character lighting. It's not unreasonable for the development team to expand those options further, especially if they're client side.
By that logic, gender locked gear should never have been unlocked.
Either people are all for more options or they're not. It's really that simple.![]()
