5.2 Feedback: The story is getting a bit out of hand...

Keeping up with who is alive or dead or revived or possessed or in the lifestream or just an aethereal projection or a successor of a predecessor by the same name is getting out of hand. I feel like I need Microsoft Visio open on my other monitor to keep a flowchart for all of this. I loved Emet's story, and I felt for the Ascians... but everything since 5.0 ended has been a jumbled mess.

What was hard to understand about it lol

Guy took over the warrior of lights body you went to grave sighting you learn of wisdom of the charactter mage girl who pictured the falling star which at one time everyone from my understanding was there for in one way are another all man kind was there during the final days and had their memory stolen from them by the shunddering then you dig more and you find out that the woman was basicly transformed into the primal of zodiark and the other one (really not hard to understand after shiva)

then you learn the fact that everyone has the power of the echo all that is required is an illusion or words to wake up the power than man kind once had at one point and that even the most skilled at this ability like your character, minfilla, zenos are only a small fracture of power that we would have had. and will have in the future.


Which should mean since all the scions saw the illusion they all should have woken up and gained the power of the echo

I'm not sure all the people in the Crystarium got the Echo.
Even if they did ... given those aren't the Scion's real bodies, they could still be an exception.
It *is* weird the story didn't address that at all, though!

I wouldn't say it's bad, but I really do miss the more intimate, mostly local stories of arr and hw, compared to the worldspanning quests of SB, and the fate-of-the-universe quests of SHB.
I do hope that the story's powercreep doesn't prohibit us from going back to the smaller scale threats as the game ages.

The Exarch didn't either and he saw it, although he is an archon at the same time from The Source. Even so, only 2 went out on a grand adventure having combat experience and I hope we get more of their story. It is also mentioned that Aerenvald despite having the echo isn't as strong in it as the WoL, Krile, and Minfilia.
