They were in WoW too. And my eyes frequently bled until they came up with their version of glamours.

So, had they not implemented glamour in WoW you would have stopped playing? I find that hard to believe. Never played WoW myself, but sounds like it would have been nice if you had features in you visual settings you could adjust like:

    1. Show effects of all glamoured gear set by other players.
    2. Show effects of glamoured gear based on level range (60-70; 70-80; 80-90) where each level range has a different default set.
    3. Show default glamour set for job class (healer, tank, dps) same gear set regardless of level.

Again, these are just examples and completely optional features that would affect visual effects on the client side (your monitor/tv) only.

Obviously I didn't stop playing over that. I'm not THAT dramatic lol. I put up with the eye bleed pain until they developed transmog in... I think Wrath it was, and after that it was a profound relief to see coordinated outfits and not the patchwork mess of before. Sure you had the periodic oddball that ran around naked, but that happened anyway.

I don't think I would have particularly liked your second or third options there either. Just like here, you couldn't transmog above your actual level. Seeing someone in a set above their level would've been confusing, and having a different set for each level would've been madness. Not to mention visually boring as sin. I know your argument back is going to be "But you can turn on the full glamour effects, and I can turn them off if I want and we can both be happy!".

Honey, lemme be clear now, I'm not wound up enough, or awake enough currently, to care if your features get implemented or not. I see both sides of this argument, and both have made valid points. But personally, I'm perfectly capable of moving on from some of the more outlandish outfits out there, and I'm Sagittarius enough that I really couldn't care less if you or anyone else outside my immediate circle of friends likes my glam or not, so I'm happy with things as they are thanks.
