Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

Listen, i get you made the thread, and as i said, i dont mind either way if male viera is added or not, but lets not kid ourselves here. They have been radio silent on male viera/ female hrothgar pretty much since the races came out. Yes, this thread shows that people are interested, but despite how many pages are here, the amount of actual interested people are low. This thread has a handful of people whole valiantly praise and push male viera but will slap you down so hard if you even make a propose that isnt "gibe male viera now".

I feel like they will be added, but adding them before fixing whats already here would just add more to a problem that should be addressed. Male hroth and female viera should be treated to the same standards that the other races have, hairs that all races have access to Includeing store bought and unlocks, a decent amount of faces and access to helms. Once those are done, then male viera and female hroth should be added (if that is what they plan to do) and be up to those standards, THEN the rest of the races should be updated, along with hroth/viera to add all the things people say should be added to the character creator.

I wasn't making a comment on whether new hairs and head items for f viera/m hroth should come out first or not. I'm just saying that this thread might matter. Yoshi P did say in an interview they were looking at feedback.

They should fix whats already here first. Once that is done and out of the way, if they did decide to add the other sex of each race, then sure.

I'm not happy with how Hrothgar have to pay to change manes and looking at what they did with Viera I couldn't care less about them and would prefer Female Hrothgar with the Hrothgar Mane non-sense 100%. But really, people must give up on the thought that these races are "unfinished" and need "fixing".

They never said Viera and Hrothgar would get all head gear, they simply arn't getting hats and helms. This was a design choice they accepted a long time ago when they decided to make something wholly unique to this game, YP said as much from the start. If they bring these races over to the NEXT MMO then I'm sure that wont be a problem but as it stands the Hrothgar having unique heads keeps them from Helms and the Viera having 4 different types of long knives coming out the top of their heads keeps them from having helms AND hats.

Hair wise they outright stated that Hrothgar are a unique race in this way and that their manes are a part of CC so we shouldn't expect them to ever make that different as that's by design. Viera not getting old hair has more to do with the fact that there's a small number of hairs that would work for them. Even when they said they would make old hairs for Viera they said that only "some (the ones that would work) would be given". Since then they changed it to being only new unique racial ones, so who knows. Personally I think they realized that the hand full of ones that "would work" are not the kind that would get people excited and would likely set an expectation for new hairs for all races to work when they may not intend on doing that.
Somehow some people got it in their head that Hrothgar are somehow to blame for Viera hair, no clue how that adds up.

So yeah, not a fan of how things are myself but as far as S-E is concerned they're not "broken" or unfinished, they're just unique headed races. Unique doesn't mean fair.

Not really a fan of people thinking that something they feel needs "fixing" should come before something new. This is what we got, coulda gotten something that was "fair" and far less unique ... but we didn't. Shouldn't let that stop you from wanting the counter parts ASAP.

Damn right this thread and female Hrothgar one matter they wouldn't have put out a official word on it same with healer and glasses issue if it didn't

Granted im not saying M viera and F hroth are garunteed but they clearly take feedback from here and willing to help if they can.

Except, they did say that all helms would be added at a later time. They also said that hroth and viera would get more heads and hairs later.

I would love to see both female Hrothgar and male Vieras running around even if I wouldn't switch. Possibly more stuff on that with the new relic quest line? Well, we just have to wait and see.

I think its rather likely that we will see female hrotgar as a main character of the relic at the last patch (5.5). Also, lore wise, female hrotgar are very rare, and I think they will also not be suepr popular in game in terms of players, so they'll be perfect for that imo

We just saw and fought a Sahagin/Ondo queen. Hopefully this that they could at the very least show Female Hrothgar and male Viera as npcs
