Why not use the new loft item? You don't need the glitch and you can literally put them anywhere on the wall, high or low.

I won't be coming back to FFXIV's forums. The forum vibe is way too venomous and brings out the worst in me. I don't like who I am on the forums, so it's best to distance myself.

Unfortunately with the loft, you still have to glitch items like beds onto them because of the developers’ program/coding for housing items.

In this case the loft would probably be a much easier solution, but I agree we should have better placement options/ui elements. The glitches are a frustration and they work because the system already saves the coordinates. Just let us set the coordinates manually already and/or create advanced ui elements to manually push furniture in X, Y, Z directions. If there's worry about people placing things way outside the boundaries of the walls, it should be easy enough to check the coordinate numbers against the boundaries of the house box size within the instance and produce an error while denying placement if it would place the object too far out of bounds (would still like some clipping into the walls/floors/ceiling).

That would be very nice yes! I don't bother with lofts much anymore because the glitching to get stuff onto the wall mounted ones is aggravating, and glitching the troupe stages is equally aggravating.
