What I do care about is that this sort of thing further encourages people to be unwilling or even unable to accept others with differing views, appearances or whatever. It's another thing that promotes intolerance, something that no healthy MMO community needs nor wants.

This is an MMO and interactions with other players is at it's very core. Some of those interactions may be good, some of them may not, but as long as they do not cross the line of being abusive or genuinely negative (And this game is very hard to fault there, social reports tend to get taken very seriously) then it's all part of the experience and makes MMOs the colourful and often wild experience they are.

If this was a single player game, I wouldn't be here objecting. But it's not. It's an MMO and social interactions are it's foundation.
Why do we even have the option to blacklist anyone then or turn the profanity filter on? Because for sure, by the logic of this forum, that is intolerance of the freedom of expression individuals have, right? Surely, we should not be allowed that option and they should be allowed to control what appears in our chat log. We should also just 'deal with' the profanity that appears in the chat logs as well like everyone is suggesting we deal with your clothing.
