Some people having different tastes does not make them "troglodytes", its subjective and everyone likes and do not like different things, we have players from around the world and in some cultures a man wearing thongs or high heels is not appreciated to say the least. To me that line reads more like deflecting, the bikini option has been around for a while the thing that's happening now is the men in wedding dresses option which lines up with the "It's time" title of the thread.
Next the op also frames anyone that reads their post this way as a "troglodyte" while almost defensively trying to deflect further by asserting that players wearing whatever they like breaks the "theme and feel" of a final fantasy game when really, particularly with the more modern installations, FF characters wear what suits them regardless of their role in the party.
