Yes people dress dress the way others find inappropriate in our world and in the virtual one, the difference is on the options given to the observer on how they choose deal with what they're seeing.

It's fine if you enjoy glamouring, glamour to your hearts content, no-one is trying to deny you that, but just because some people may not care to see it doesn't mean they should be forced to and it wouldn't impact your ability to create whatever fashion you so desire.
What is it with you, you are just plowing stuff you made up into others mouths. I never said "well because its exist in IRL it HAS to be in the game!" Can you stop making stuff up in just ONE of you comments at least. All I said was they have SIMILARITIES. Let me copy paste this here definition for you so you do not keep stumbling over yourself to comprehend the word.
    sim·i·lar·i·ty
    /ˌsiməˈlerədē/
    Learn to pronounce
    noun
    plural noun: similarities
the state or fact of being similar.
"the similarity of symptoms makes them hard to diagnose"
    a similar feature or aspect.
"the similarities between people of different nationalities"

And as for the last part of your statement I already argued this to death. Why play an mmorpg? To play with other people. To create a character and then be able to interact with others with that character. When you come out and ask for an option to deny the person their characters identity, you are ruining an aspect of the game "we" like. Building an identity a character w.e and having others interact with your character is a huge appeal to many people including myself.

Ha, someone is getting a tad overly touchy. It's not that important to get so worked up about.

No-one is denying anyone's character their "identity". You can still glamour as much as you want and other people can see it, just not the ones who opt to use the feature. You can still interact with other people and unless you go out of your way to say "hey, what do you think of my glamour? Isn't it amazing?" nobody is going to know or care about your character's "identity" but you.

Is that how you try to win anything? You just claim something out of thin air? Where in my comment did I seem overly touchy or worked up? Everything I said was completely reasonable and in response to retort your comment. I posted the definition because you seem to keep ignoring out of will or ignorance my use of the word. And yes if you add a feature that lets people rip down my characters glamour you have just denied that characters identity. I really do not know how to make it any easier for you to understand. People like everyone to see their glamour. But other people and I say OTHER people were making out like we were forcing them to have intercourse just cause we want our characters be portrayed in the way we designed them.
I will meet them halfway and say they can make the character completely invisible. But no I do not like that idea that you can just alter my character because you don't not like how I made them. At that point it isnt even my character so do not display it at all.

I'm not trying to "win" anything because there is nothing to win here (and F.Y.I., claiming someone has a comprehension problem and going out of your way to post the definition of a word is a sign of exasperation, which means getting worked up. Just so you know.)

As far as your character's "identity", which you keep using, nobody but you and your friends care about that. Do you think all the random people you run with are going to give 2 seconds worth of thought to your character's supposed form of "expression"? Most people just want to get the content done, collect their reward and bugger off. As I said, unless you go out of your way to show off then most people wouldn't pay a lick of attention to you.

Sorry, I currently don't have the time to look for a beginning of this discussion so I don't know what yours and Dan4077 initial arguments are.

However, if everything was as you say and "random people aren't going to give 2 seconds worth of thought about somebody's character expressions" then we wouldn't sit in this thread to begin with. If people really didn't care, they wouldn't ask for a possibility to hide somebody's glamour in the first place. If they want only to do the content, get reward and bugger off, why care about somebody's dress to the point they want a toggle to hide it?

It honestly reminds me a phrase from a Russian movie: "For three days I chased you - yes! - to tell you how indifferent you are to me!"

The point is that when you see something you disagree with as far a someone's glamour is concerned you don't care what their motivation behind the chosen attire is, you just don't want to see it.

And who are you to get to decide who cares and doesn't? And if no one gives a lick besides my friends and me then why do they want a feature that blocks out glamours they do not like. And posting a definition is not a sign of exasperation just because you say it is.
You literally just argued down the option you were defending. No one gives a lick so now you and everyone else don't need the option. I am SO glad no one but my friends and me care. Well that is perfect then everyone is happy.

So now you're the one making assumptions about someone's meaning? Your whole argument is that by hiding your glamour in my FoV I'm erasing your character's identity, yes? You're conflating identity with appearance. Your character's identity means nothing to other players unless you specifically go out of your way to bring it up and explain it, or someone approaches you about it. However, your appearance is readily noticeable and easy to ascertain whether or not the observer likes or dislikes it. That's why I put "identity" in quotation marks, your appearance is not your identity, it's a form of expression sure, but it doesn't define who you are or in this case who your character is.

Um no, this is all what you said. If you failed to explain it properly then I refer you to the edit button. You are the only one who made yourself look ignorant there. Another person called you out too. I didn't assume nothing lmao. This is getting to the point everything you type is more like a comedy skit. You go around here and claim you know what everyone cares about in game. Like damn you must be like......god or something ahahaha. Not everyone cares about my glamour but i have people come up and compliment me when I am just walking around doing my turn ins and such. So next time don't try to act like you speak on everyone behalf and you won't look like such a fool and get called out. XD
