The thread itself has been made before and as another poster pointed out, it was a feature back in FFXI. There's many different reasons as to why someone might want a feature such as this to be implemented and I don't think it's a particularly good look for those with a chip upon their shoulders to be trying to force reasons and words into another poster's mouth.

The proposal isn't eroding the option for players to wear what they desire. It's really no different to being able to adjust the number of players visible upon one's screen.

I tried to stay out of this, Hells, I tried to stay off this forum in general, but I guess I am a glutton for punishment because here I am again and it's because this comment is absolutely ridiculous. Why is some people's first reaction to a person that doesn't care to see dudes in dresses automatically to assume they "hate the gays" so to speak? It couldn't just be that something like that could be distracting from taking the story seriously could it? No, I guess not, it has to be because they have some deep resentment for gay/trans/ETC people right?

and they brought it up because they said "now we have tanks in bikini and man in dresses" which well we have had tanks in bikinis for ages
