there is no guide, you pretty much just go to the appropriate grade, and farm it while leveling

1-8 farm grade 1
9-18 grade 2
19-28 grade 3
29-38 grade 4
39-50 grade 5


the type of fish you get will vary regardless of where you go and all will sell about the same
if you are going for specific fish....you can check the dol site for them(or you can dig back through old patch notes here for what is at what area for gathering)

It's not so much the patch that people are "high on"(?) it is the road map.

Yo speak for yourself I get mad tipsy every time I see that concept screenshot.

Also mooglebox is an ok DB. FFXIV-DB has a better layout and discilplesoftheland.com is hands down the best place for anything DoL.
