I know I only play casual stuff but even there its a hinderance, and if you end up two AST in a party, then forget it cards everywhere and overwriting.

Not to discredit your reply but this problem could easily be fixed with communication. "I place cards on tanks and healers, you place cards on dps"

No overriding, no problem.
