    Did ain't nobody say WAR?

1-9: you aint killing major stuff here move along
10-39: overpower, which might not be overpowered. Might wanna add berserk for extra viking.
    40: yay mythril tempest combo.
45: steel cyclone, but since aoe combo not adding gauge yet this ain't your best tools atm.
50: Infuriate, some lenient way of giving steel cyclone its cyclone. Also not AoE, but Storms eye.
    60: Decimate, yay.
70: Inner release, now spam your decimate when you go viking.
72-79: Chaotic Cyclone, the ultimate answer of Viking AoE, sweet sweet blood from enemies paired with Nascent Flash. Personally use this even in single target because Chaotic hits harder than non-critdh FC. also AOE rotation build gauge for more decimate.
80: Nothing much other than reminding oneself that golf club is better for single target.

Not sure I understand your process on AOE here .. not sure what A1 and A2 are intended for what so yer saying could you break it down for us? I'm assuming Osmose is meaning Energy Siphon and A1 is Egi Assault 1 and A2 is Egi Assault 2? If so you rotation on AOE would look like or flow like this correct?

Tri-Disaster > Egi Assault 2 >Bane > Energy Siphon > Egi Assault 1 > Dreadwyrm Trance > Energy Siphon (why a second time without using the 2 charges?) Egi Assault 1 > Enkindle Egi > Pain Flare > Outburst > Deathflare >Summon DemiBahamut >R4 (not sure what R4 is here) > Akh Morn > Painflare > R4 (again what is R4?) > Tri-Disaster >Bane > Outburst, Outburst, Outburst-> R4 (huh?) > Akh Morn > Energy Siphon >OutBurst > Egi Assault 2 once Bahamut goes away. Use A1 and A2 as weaving when not in Bahamut or Firebird.

Sorry if I butchered it.. just trying to understand your shorthand and abbreviations. could you please clarify?

    To add to NIN:

True North > Suiton > Trick Attack > All other single target oGCDs in between DB combo (or Throwing Dagger if the server won't register it) as you are running towards the next mobs. When the tank stops running then start ninjutsu spam with Gyokka > Doton > Katon priority.

    Priority 1 Bioblaster/Drill/Air Anchor:
Bioblaster at 2 targets - unless you don't get the full DoT duration, then it's better to use Drill AND Air Anchor. iirc AA is still used at 1-4 targets, at 5+ it's better to skip it. Bioblaster vs. Drill at 3+ targets: Drill if everything - except your target - is about to die, overwise Bioblaster.

    Priority 2 Hypercharge:
At 2 targets: Heat Blast; at 3+ targets: Auto Crossbow
Don't use HC when BB/Drill has less than 8s CD.

    Priority 3 Flamethrower:
Use it on 2+ targets when 1. you don't have enough Heat for HC, and 2. BB/Drill has ~10+s CD. You don't need to stand still for its full 10s duration, but it's preferred. Take an AoE hit if it doesn't kill you. This is essentially your "BLM phase".

    Priority 3 Spread Shot:
On 3+ targets, whenever 1. Flamethrower is on CD, 2. you don't have enough Heat for HC, and 3. BB/Drill has about ~7s CD.

In between, you should use 1. Ricochet, 2. Gauss Round, 3. Barrel Stabilizer, 4. Wildfire on biggest target und pair it with 5. HC, 6. Automaton Queen/Autoturret on biggest target.

Reassemble on either Drill/Air Anchor (refer to priority 1), Auto Crossbow or Spread Shot.
DO NOT USE IT ON BIOBLASTER! The DoT is uneffected by this ability.

R4 is Ruin 4, literally the only ability you have that starts with an R and ends with a 4.

    SAM:

First priority is to get the haste and damage buffs up with Shifu and Jinpu.

    1-25- No aoe.

26: Hakaze > Shifu > Hakaze > Jinpu > then Fuga until dead, reapplying buffs as needed.

35: Hakaze > Shifu > Hakaze > Jinpu > Gekko > Higanbana a mob > Fuga > Mangetsu > Repeat Fuga > Mangetsu until dead while applying Higanbana to alternate mobs.

40: This is where the AoE gets interesting. Hakaze > Shifu > Kasha > Hakaze > Jinpu > Gekko > Tenka Goken Aoe Iajutsu > Fuga > Mangetsu > Hakaze > Shifu > Kasha> Tenka Goken > Repeat from Fuga > Mangetsu

45: Kasha/Gekko combo for buffs > Tenka Goken > Fuga > Oka > Fuga > Mangetsu > Tenka Goken > Repeat Oka combo > Mangetsu combo > Goken until dead. This will be your main base weapon skill aoe combo for the rest of the game if you don't use cooldowns.

50: Same as above, but you can use Meikyo to skip the Fugas of 3 Oka/Magetsu. So, Buffs > Goken > Meikyo > Oka > Mangetsu > Goken > Oka > Mangetsu combo > Goken > then repeat Oka combo > Mangetsu combo > Goken

52: Unlock Kaiten. Use it before every Tenka Goken if you have enough Kenki (20) for 50% damage increase.

64: Unlock Kyuten (along with much better kenki gain at 62). Always save 20 kenki for Tenka Goken, but if you have a spare 25 kenki you can wave Kyuten in between your weaponskills as oGCD. Each Fuga > Oka Fuga > Mangetsu combo will gain 30 kenki. 20 of that will go towards Kaiten, the rest you can save for Kyuten.

68: Unlocks Hagakure and Ikishoten. You won't be using Hakagure during your aoe rotation, but it can gain some kenki between fights. Ikishoten is a free 50 kenki that equals 2 Kyutens or one Guren, speaking of which-

70: Guren unlocked. Your best AoE skill for the cost, but long cooldown. The more enemies there are, the stronger it is. You want to place it after you've got your Jinpu buff up, so my rotation at this level usually looks like this: Hakaze > Ikishoten > Shifu > Kasha > Hakaze > Jinpu > Guren > Gekko > Kaiten > Tenka Goken > Meikyo > Oka > Mangetsu > Kaiten > Goken > Oka > Fuga > Mangetsu > Kaiten > Goken > Fuga > Oka > Fuga > Mangetsu > Kaiten > Goken > Repeat both aoe combos and Kaiten > Goken from there. Weave Kyuten in between weaponskills as kenki allows (remember to save 20 kenki for Kaiten > Tenka Goken).

78: Tsubame-Gaeshi is gotten. Same rotation as 70, except you can use it to put an extra Goken at in the beginning of the rotation.

80: Shoha. Use as your Meditation stacks hit 3.

    Final level 80 combo:

    Hakaze > Ikishoten > Shifu > Kasha > Hakaze > Jinpu > Guren > Gekko > Kaiten > Tenka Goken > Tsubame-Gaeshi> Meikyo > Oka > Mangetsu > Kaiten > Tenka Goken > Shoha > Oka > Fuga > Mangetsu > Kaiten > Tenka Goken > Fuga > Oka > Fuga > Mangetsu > Kaiten > Tenka Goken > Fuga > Oka > Fuga > Mangetsu > Kaiten > Tenka Goken > Shoha. Weave Kyuten in between weaponskills as kenki allows (don't overcap kenki).

    A couple other points:

AoE is always better on 3+ targets. If only two targets, then single target chain for 2 Sen followed by Tenka Goken which is slightly more potency than going 3 Sen with a Midare on one mob.

    Thank you Ryaz

I have noticed a greatly improved quality of the DPS partners I end up with in Expert Roulettes. The last few Samurai I've run with have been really good.

But overall I have seen a drastic improvement in my DPS partners as a whole. While I cannot specifically attribute it to this thread. I'm sure its having an impact.

Most of them are easy, so I'll just likelist BRD: DoT one to three mobs until they bunch making sure to double DoT at least one at the start, and using shadow bite as as soon as possible to hit multiple target, reset the DoTs on the party's focus, and it's mostly just a tweaked version of the single target rotation but it starts with MB as the opening song

Well Its not so much that they're hard, but moreso that new players just don't really know how to use them.

They don't generally get spammed with mobs until much higher levels. So they never actually spend the time to learn them. While you can find a million different sites for Job Rotations for things like 8 mans or alliance raids... you find ZERO sites that actually give recommendations on AoE rotations for Dungeons even though the average player will spend a LOT more time in Dungeons and doing dungeons than they ever will in any kind of 8 Man or Alliance Raids.

So far the only site I've seen that has anything on AoE has been a Red Mage site. It seems to be the only one that posts it.
