Please put a Elemental burst at end of Battle Regiment ^^We wanted to give everyone an update on battle regimens; once we have finalized the battle fixes and implemented jobs in patch 1.21, we will move forward with our plans to re-implement an optimized battle regimen system to go along with the battle system. Since combos have just recently been added, we will also be looking into the possibility of changing the battle regimen system.
Due to this, we are unable to provide any additional information or an implementation date, but we will be sure to let you know of any other information that comes our way.

it make more sense for it to be at the end Ws---> Ws --> Ws = dark skillchain then follow by the black mage doing a nuke doing 3-5k Dmg.

I was hoping that magic and WS would work something like how I imagined it would when I saw that trailer where the party is fighting a malboro, and the mage casts a fire spell on the archer's bow and it turns it into a fire arrow. This is the kind of group combos I want to see.
Mage casts thunder before the melee's weaponskill and turns the damage into thunder based attack. Similar to how pugilist fist currently works.
edit: Actually I have a lot of inspirations on what sort of group combos there should be, might as well write up a post since I am waiting for maintenance lol

Not really. Mages are people just like everyone else. ; ___ ;
Why should our abilities only chain if we have two DoWs? Two DoMs or one of each could never do anything together.
It didn't bother me as much in XI because we *all* had weapon skills. Even Black Mage, though they never really gained TP. At least for duoing, I could use a staff WS to chain with my melee friend before raeeeeeping a mob with a magic burst.![]()

No thanks.
Please Go Crono Trigger/Cross on this and make it so that Battle Regimes require two or more specific classes with specifc skills to create New skills.
Fire + Fast Blade = Red Lotus Blade
Leg Sweep + Sucker Punch = Some Crazy Skill Where Lancer Trips the Enemy and Puglist drives it's face into the ground.
You don't have to make every skill link every skill. Personally, I'd rather only certain combos work. But the potential for higher tiers of this could make for very interesting mechanics.
DO NOT:
Allow for infinite time to set up these skills while everyone stands around unable to attack.

I like this. This would also mean that the battle regimens would strongly influence party choice. Which would in turn discourage stacking classes because 4 Arcs have 0 regimens where as 1Arc, 1Lnc, 1Mrd, and 1Pug will have tons of regimens allowing for an over all greater damage output.

I wish I could Like moreNo thanks.
