those are worst case scenarios. you could also become fully unemployed, develop insomnia, or break you foot at work and go out on workman's comp. all these things would allow you to play even more.

I have limited time to play games every week, I work 60+ hours a week so I literally have very little time to play with going out ect, I like to make things as stream lined as possible as to not waste time, in order to gather mats (fish) or gather other mats to sell for the matts I need requires an insane amount of running around, I'll play the market a bit and see where that gets me.

also, keep in mind, your leveling another job if you are doing that which can only also benefit you

In which case to get the specific mats I need I'd have to research where I can fish/mine/botan the specific piece I need and hope that I get that item and not something else, right?

its alot easier to do then you may realize, but yes

and if you get "other" items, you can probly sell them to buy the materials you do need


gathering is rather profitable and cuts down on alot of costs of crafting

Actually its not a patch. Its a re-release. With a new client you will have to download. An entirely new praphics engine. An entirely new map for each zone.
