The best is when you find the tank wearing gear 10 to 20 levels below what they our and blame you the healer for them dying and get kicked over it. Lost count how many times that's happened to me. Healers get treated like garbage.

I mean that's a big mood in like trials or raids. Sometimes they just go too well and you leave feeling unfulfilled because you've just spent the entire time spamming glare/broil/malefic.

As far as dungeons go, however, i like it better when people know what they're doing so we can be in and out in 10 to 15 minutes. This in mind, there is a surprising amount of fresh 80's who managed to bypass the part of the MSQ where they literally send you to pick up free 430 gear. Like how do you even miss that? Why are you dpsing in expert roulette with ravel keeper gear? WHY IS THIS RUN TAKING 30 MINUTES?

This is why it pays to be a salt mage. Assert dominance over the group. Let your spite alone keep people alive.

This is what savage and extreme fights are for. You shouldn't be struggling in roulette. Wall to wall pulls are the norm, you're supposed to just rush through these and get your tomes and move on.

If you want to put in some serious effort hop into a PF for e2s where nobody knows what quietus is.

    I know the feeling.

It's very repetitive and boring when every dungeon run just happens the same way, smoothly without any problems. It's more a chore to repeat than anything else.
There's more fun when something unusual happens, players struggling with a fight or even with just the pulls - and I agree that it's quite a fun challenge as a healer to put in the extra effort to get them through it.
Can also be fun if somehow people start chatting for some reason, rather than just silently going through it like programmed robots doing their job. ...even if they for some reason end up fighting or flaming each other, can be quite amusing at times (eating imaginative popcorn while reading along and healing, or trying to calm them down).

In general it's more fun when you feel like you're playing with people, with their faults and randomness rather than just hamsters doing their daily wheel-run in silence.

.. well, that's just my opinion.

Yeah I never understood the complaints about bad party members "stressing" the healer in normal content. It's exhilarating, not stressful.

I would agree, but I only exchange my one button dps action for a one button heal in most of these cases... so eh?

I get what you're saying about healing the 'pros' being boring.

I think that can be inversely related to the level of the content, and thus how many tools the healer has/how creative they can get in dealing with things. I know it is for me, at least, and for various other healer-main friends I've spoken to.

A disaster tank in Grand Cosmos who leaves me feeling like I've just been through an action sequence in an adventure movie can be exhilarating; I remember those runs a lot more vividly—and a lot longer—than I do the smooth ones. A disaster tank in Sastasha, though, I have very few options for dealing with; I'll still finish the run and keep them up, but it mostly becomes "how quickly can I spam the same low-level heal" rather than an intricate and exhilarating dance of a dozen different things like it would be in Grand Cosmos.

This is why pugging Mythic+ was the best. Nothing teaching healing like cascading mistakes in a challenging environment.
