As a healer doing duties, there is no greater joy than...

... having bad teammates and especially a bad tank.

Yes. I am serious. I'll take any fellow novice that plays "catch the red circle" over any overgeared pro that rushes through the dungeon in mental auto mode without question.

Nothing against a fast run, but that's just grind. It can't beat the fun of barely making it and knowing you had to put in some serious effort.

To all scrubs and noobs, if you try to have my back, I'll make sure to have yours any time of the day.

    Have fun!

Personal blogging aside; I think the post was aimed more a healing being more engaging when players are derping than actually venting about poor play, which I find to be 100% true. It doesn't mean it's ok to stand in bad. It means that it's bad that it's ok to stand in bad.

The vent thread isn’t exclusively for venting. Good stories and posts like this are also appropriate.

But... If you're a noob and the tank is pulling lots of things, you are likely "barely making it and putting in serious effort" to keep them alive.

Plus, the entire game is pretty much "just grind". It's an mmo, that'd what mmos do.

I personally take it as a challenge. Ie, Can I keep this overgeared tank alive that pulls from wall to wall without a CD? Or this baby tank, who is nowhere near geared for this duty? Dps cant keep up with the mobs and the tank is taking some severe damage, let's see if I can keep everyone alive? Or the good ol' stand in everything mentality. Let's see how well I can manage my UGH! Or one of my personal favorites: can I out dps the tank or dps while keeping everyone in one piece. XD Honestly, you can make anything a grind with the wrong mentality, but a challenge and personal drive will keep you equally frustrated, but entertained.

That's completely accurate. I see so many threads/comments about people complaining that their mates don't know the dungeon or don't know their role/job.
That's their thing and that's ok.

My thing is when people are trying but things go wrong and you're feeling the extra pressure which wakes your inner demon and you refuse to let anybody die.
There is fun in failure and chaos. I think that's a message worth highlighting.

It does always feel good to save a run. I have actually switched to being a RDM main, so I can rez when both healers die >. >
