Having a large is by no means better because then you have more space and can't possibly fill it all unless you use only massive gaudy items.Want more outdoor space? Upgrade to a bigger house.
Even with 20 slots, my smalls outdoors is cluttered. It's more-so the things you use, not how many there are.
A house with lots of trees is obviously going to feel more restricted than a house that only has 20 sets of fallen leaves.

i've found that's just an issue with Larges in general. Both indoors and outdoors. Lots of space, but barely any slots to fill it to any meaningful degree. At least not without cutting off large swathes of it.

At this point I would happily settle for "slots" that are used for the aetheryte and the mailbox, so we can win back two garden furnishing slots that are taken up by things that aren't exactly optional unless you're fortunate enough to, for example, have your fc house nearby.
What I mean by these slots is that they would behave like the slots used for the awning or chimney decorations. Though ideally the aetheryte and mailbox would retain the ability to be positioned anywhere. I know quite a lot of people who hide their aetheryte because it doesn't work with the aesthetic of their garden.
What's crazy is that there are mailboxes we can't even use even without the post moogle box.At this point I would happily settle for "slots" that are used for the aetheryte and the mailbox, so we can win back two garden furnishing slots that are taken up by things that aren't exactly optional unless you're fortunate enough to, for example, have your fc house nearby.
