Load times on zone-in are affected more by hard drive speed, which is entirely within the player's control, than ISP, which is not. Also, as outdoor furnishings are affected by draw distance, it's more likely the other players clumped together causing the load issue. You would see a similar issue zoning into e.g. Limsa at peak times.

Regardless - Just as SE has ceased support of 32-bit OS, they should disregard players whose hard drives are slower than that of a PS4.

That said, this discussion is moot. They've already stated (SHB fanfests, I believe) that they will be increasing the outdoor furnishing limit as their next housing limit increase. They haven't given us a timeline for it, but it absolutely is coming.

2- No offense and I mean it, but you are your friend are using internet with the speed of a dial-up connection. I don't even live near the server, I don't even have a good ISP and it doesn't take longer than 5 seconds for any loading screen.
So your experience is different from the experience of others. Not everyone lives in the US or has access to high speed broadband for internet, though I doubt anyone is playing using a 56 kbps dial-up connection.

SE has to consider the entire player base and what they're using. They do collect data on systems and connection speeds. They have mentioned the loading issues as a reason why they've haven't increased the outdoor limit in the past though I can't remember if it's been said since they stopped support for PS3.

I don't recall the issue of increasing outdoor furnishing limits being brought up during any of the 2018/2019 FanFests.

If I do a google search, the closest I can get is this https://gamerescape.com/2019/01/04/y...-yoshi-p-walk/

It's not saying they will definitely increase the limit, only that they want to and that if it happens it wouldn't be until after the expansion release.

If you can track down a link to what you remember, it would be appreciated.
